The TIRAMISU project was presented to the President of Croatia at the 10th International Symposium 'Humanitarian Demining 2013”
Ivo Josipovi?, President of the Republic of Croatia, opened the 10th International Symposium on 'Humanitarian Demining 2013 - HUDEM 2013', organised by the Croatian Mine Action Centre and the HCR-Centre for Testing, Development and Training Ltd., a TIRAMISU project partner.
The symposium, coupled with a special IARP (International Advanced Robotics Programme) session on Robotics, gathered Humanitarian Demining stakeholders to discuss the existing status and the development of the industry.
The Croatian President was able to discover how the TIRAMISU FP7 project is helping the Mine Action community in addressing the many issues related to Humanitarian Demining and thus promoting peace, national and regional Security, conflict prevention, social and economic rehabilitation and post-conflict reconstruction.
The symposium took place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of April 2013 in Šibenik (Croatia).
